Enter the Fabulous Crazy World of the Watermill Center
Say good bye to normal. As soon as you enter through tiki torches into Fada: House of Madness you know for sure you’re not in Kansas anymore. The annual fundraiser of the Watermill Center is a feast for the senses with performance art, music, black salt rimmed glasses of tequila cocktails and of course a cornucopia of fashion.
Founded by theater and visual artist Robert Wilson, the center is a laboratory where both emerging and established artists come to explore new works. The benefit draws the elite of theater, art, fashion, design and society who explore different performances over the 8 acres and bid on silent auction art items. Think instagram explosion.
For those who didn’t get a chance to attend, the open house day is Sunday August 14th. Also note that this is an amazing gem of the Hamptons where the public is invited to open rehearsals and special lectures year round. When you need to think outside of the box, this is your playground.
