If you need a little help with your New Years Resolution to get fit and healthy, Hamptons Wellness week January 12 – 17  is your jump start.

Hamptons Wellness Week consists of $5 fitness classes at over 15 premiere fitness studios between Montauk and Westhampton, evening lectures and learning, coaching and connecting, and, of course, celebrating. Kiley Sabatino of One Healthy Hamptons seeks to celebrate wellness and make health more accessible throughout the community.  This is your chance to try all sorts of different workouts to see what will light your fitness fire.

Participating fitness studios: Exhale Spa, Cross Fit Hamptons, KamaDeva Yoga, Norma Jean Pilates, Physique 57, Studio 89, Silich TRX, The Body Shop, Hamptons Hot Yoga, Exceed Physical Culture, SH Hospital Wellness Institute, Cinema Cycle, Body Tech, Mandala Yoga, Evolution Fitness, and Studio 3.

Hamptons Wellness Week grew out of a passing conversation over coffee with friend, Anastasia Gavalas, founder of the Wing It Project (www.wingitproject.com, empowering children worldwide) when the two discussed classes to try on their ‘fitness bucket list,’ “We thought that if the two of us (Kiley, Sag Harbor resident, founder-in-chief of One Healthy Hamptons, and bride-to-be and Anastasia, Bridgehampton resident, mom of five, author, and family life teacher) would take advantage of class trials and wellness offers, so would others in the community. It grew from there, we threw around a few ideas and local fitness studios, experts, and businesses eagerly jumped on board. (Sponsors include Bliss Sleep Center, Old School Favorites, Zoe Dimele, and Isagenix.) It’s a win-win, both for locals looking to amp up their wellness routine and local businesses looking to engage new customers during the quieter winter months.”

Participating in Wellness Week allows folks to try seven premium fitness classes, attend lectures all week, enjoy daily offerings like nutritional consultations and facials, and, best of all,(because what’s a week in the Hamptons without a party?) wrap up the week meeting and greeting like-minded folks over signature Wellness Week cocktails and a healthy tasting at Fresh Hamptons, where there will also be a raffle to benefit the Wing It Project consisting of prizes to enhance your 2014 wellness journey.

There’s something for everyone, even a complimentary “Make Your Own Pizza & Wings” event for kids on January 17th (email anastasia@wingitproject.com to reserve a spot for your family.) To participate in Hamptons Wellness Week, sign up at Hampton Coffee Company’s Experience Store (749 County Road 39A, Southampton) on January 12th between the hours of 8 and 11am or 4 and 6pm. In addition to a Hamptons Wellness Week program and vouchers, the first 50 to sign up will also receive a healthy gift bag.
