Hamptons Best Spas - Salon Bar

There is a secret oasis in East Hampton Village, a place to relax and revel in self-care away from the hustle and bustle of a busy summer season.  The Salon Bar at 66 Newtown Lane is tucked away on the second floor, a large bright white space with a glittering new Hamptons spa.  Different rooms are dedicated to manicures, pedicures, hair salon, massages and facials with a bar for a sparkling water or sparkling body glitter art.

Salon Bar is a full service Hamptons spa with hair services which include everything from blow dries to cut and color to hair extensions and essential oil treatments.  There are a host of specialized mani pedis and of course the Hamptons spa summer essential – a spray tan.  Body treatments include wraps and scrubs made with wine, chocolate, sea weed, lavender, papaya and orange.  You can also customize your special Hamptons massage with deep tissue or reflexology.

Facials also are designed to fit the client and work magic with lactic acid peels, green tea and ginseng tightening mask, anti- aging serum and willow bark which is known to tighten skin.  Esthetician Kathleen Boswell also works with chemotherapy and radiation patients, catering to their special needs.  And if you ask pretty please she may also share her Bali Prince and Princess ritual, a special Indonesian body cleansing, moisturizing and mini facial with exotic herbs.

Not feeling well?  Try the eucalyptus body treatment or hot stone massage with healing herbs.

The Salon Bar also specializes in make-up applications and even air brush make up – a favorite of brides.

Dudes – you are totally welcome.  There are special men’s styling and grooming packages so bring on the manscaping.

If you don’t want to leave the house you can also ask the Salon Bar about their services which can be brought straight to you.

HipHamptons insider tip.  Parking in East Hampton Village is mostly 2 hours so be sure to read the signs so you don’t end up with a ticket at the end of your relaxing day.
