Hamptons Fireworks 2012 start this Sat. June 30th
If you’re not a hedge fund manager in North Haven who has the deep pockets to put on a private fireworks display for your wife’s birthday – don’t feel bad. Here is how you can enjoy Hamptons Fourth of July fireworks.
With Independence Day falling on hump day this year, Hamptons fireworks are more spread out than usual. The key is to secure a prime viewing seat early whether it is a waterfront restaurant reservation or a beach chair set up well before sunset. Most displays go off right after dark around 9pm. Be forewarned that parking can be a nightmare so arrive early.
Sag Harbor June 30th – Long Wharf
Set off just outside the breakwater at the Sag Harbor Yacht Club. If you haven’t been invited on a yacht then Havens Beach and Marine Park are good for viewing as well as B Smith restaurant.
