How to get a piece of “Revenge” in the Hamptons
The Hamptons are quite familiar with revenge but mostly as a dish best served cold. While the hugely successful series “Revenge” on ABC is supposedly set in the Hamptons, it actually films in Manhattan Beach, California with the famous Grayson Manor and Emily’s beach house located in North Carolina. Star Emily Van Camp who plays Emily Thorne just tweeted “Checking out the Hamptons for a photo shoot today. There’s a first time for everything:).” Girlfriend! You are the most stylish bad ass in the Hamptons and you’ve never actually been here? Let us know next time and we’ll give you the inside tour (and forget those stilettos, Hamptons gals wear wedges – you know the polo field parties and all.)
Revenge was in town in the estate section of East Hampton and the Montauk docks this winter for a few shots but that’s about it. If you are obsessed with the show and want to get a little bit closer to that high end Hamptons style, however Gilt City is running a special sale with both actual items from the set as well as items which could be found in these swanky homes.
You have Victoria Grayson’s elegant estate or Emily Thorne’s cozy chic beach house to choose from.
Gilt City’s special sale has the Zentique Amelie Slipper Chair on sale for $550 from the retail $890
If you want the real deal straight from the set you can also buy the Grayson Pool house framed map of Long Island for $830
From Emily’s beach house you have a whole host of seaside chic items you can purchase.
On Gilt City you can buy a Villa Home MDX Milano Pillow on sale for $48 from the original $89.99 retail.
But of course the most coveted item from the set, Emily’s porch swing which was built by her father has already sold for $1200.
With the second to last episode of the season airing tonight – take note of your interior design must haves. And ABC, how about spreading some love out here in the Hamptons? We’d love to host you. Don’t make us mad now because you know what happens when a Hamptons girl gets a bee in her bonnet…
