Broadway arrives at East Hampton’s Guild Hall, delivering a truly must-see comedy, “Long Story Short,” a one man hilarious tour de force by Colin Quinn, directed by Jerry Seinfeld.  This “History of the World in 75 minutes” covers everything from Socrates to Snooki, writing from the Old Testament to the New York Post (which really hasn’t changed much), and a debate on the distracting powers of spit balls versus sexting.

Describing America as the “bouillabaisse of fallen empires,” Quinn’s wit and irreverence about the course of history and humanity are not only laugh-out-loud but spot-on.   Addressing everything from religion to politics to drugs to anger management over yoga mat placement and global warming (“we broke the sky”) this SNL alum’s personal brand of humor and stage energy deliver one of the most entertaining evenings in Hamptons’ theater.

If you are looking for Hamptons nightlife, do not miss this seriously funny show!  Quinn is a laugh riot – but of course we knew that because, hey, he’s Irish.

Insider Tip – Become a Guild Hall member and get ticket discounts, (memberships start at $45)
