In its sophomor year, the Montauk Music Festival takes over the tip of the East End From May 12 – 15, 2011 with 100 shows, 75 bands and singer songwriters, 25 venues, and free admission for the public.  While it may not be the Rolling Stones at the Memory Motel it is a vast roster of emerging talent.  You will hear rock, pop, reggae, alternative, flamenco, blues, jazz, metal, and country.

Many of our favorite Montauk hot spots are participating, including Gurneys Inn, Sole EastNavy Beach, and the Surf Lodge.  While it will go into the wee hours you can also hear live music in the morning when you get your coffee at the Montauk Bake Shop or John’s Pancake House.

    THANKS KENNY AND LARRY!
We had a great time performing at The 2011 Montauk Music Festival. Until then, “Stephen Talkhouse” was as far as we had gone out on the south fork. It really was a GREAT TIME! Sold a ton of CDs at our shows, met a lot of really cool people, and experienced everything that only Montauk has to offer! I can not think of a better way to establish ourselves in that area, and being just blocks from the beach. NICE NICE NICE JOB!
Looking forward to next year! Thanks again!
